The Liverpool City Region Combined Authority (LCR CA) is undertaking further consultation on the Fair Employment Charter it has been developing over the course of this year. This online consultation is open until midnight on Wednesday 18th November. I would encourage you to please have a look and have your say!
Responses to consultation undertaken to date have been positive about the areas included in the Charter but there are some areas that the LCR CA wishes to explore further. They are therefore keen to hear from all residents, workers, employers, and other interested parties on the latest draft, to help make Liverpool City Region the best place to work in the country.
The Fair Employment Charter is being developed in response to Metro Mayor, Steve Rotheram’s pledge in 2019 to improve the world of work in the Liverpool City Region. Since then, the LCR CA has engaged with people about their experiences of work and asked businesses, staff, trade unions and others, including the Voluntary, Community, Faith and Social Enterprise (VCFSE) sector what should be included in the Liverpool City Region’s Fair Employment Charter.
Stuart McGrory (VOLA) sits on the Reference Group on behalf of the VS6 partnership as representative for the VCFSE sector, so it would be great if we could get as many responses from VCFSE sector employers and staff as possible.
