SFA Invitation to tender – provision for adults with mild to moderate mental health problems

In the Autumn statement the Government announced funding across two years for piloting adult education courses to help adults with mental health problems.

As a result, the Skills Funding Agency (SFA) has published an invitation to tender concerned with the development and delivery of educational approaches that support recovery from mild to moderate mental health problems.

This is a pilot programme:  Bids are invited at borough level for projects to run April 15 -Mar 16 and the SFA will award a minimum of 5 contracts across the North West.   Not every borough will receive funding.   A second ITT is anticipated for projects to run Mar16 onwards.

Only organisations in receipt of Community Learning funding are invited to apply  (local authority Community Learning sections, some colleges and VCSE sector orgs.  In Liverpool City Region the orgs in receipt of Community Learning funding are:
